I LOVE KIDS. I have a six-year-old and a two-year-old. I make talking to your child a priority. Upon arrival, I engage them and get on their level. “What’s your favorite TV show right now? Oh, I love My Little Pony. Have you seen the movie yet? You’re going to love the songs.”
I believe in mutual respect for all people – including children. I believe showing interest in them builds trust between us, and therefore makes taking direction from me easier.
That and bribes… I usually have some freeze dried fruit on me for sessions with kids! It’s "astronaut food!"
ADOPTION STORY
ＷＩＬＬ ＹＯＵ ＢＥ ＭＹ ＤＡＵＧＨＴＥＲ？
Nicholas and Brandie jumped through hoops and saved and saved for Nick to be able to adopt Caitie and Lola.
The girls knew he wanted to adopt them, but they didn't know if he was going to be able to. 🤞🏻
On this day, he let them know they COULD be his daughters if they so chose. ♥️
I love the wonderful respect and honor he shows them as young women.
He asks to be their support system for the rest of their lives.
He reassures them, "I want to be at every graduation, I want to be at EVERYthing." 🎓
